We did timed trials today and I followed Coco’s advice. I’m so proud of myself, I didn’t stop running once during the mile run. I got a 10:25 time. I know it’s not good at all, but I did my best and I didn’t stop. SO HAPPY.

I’m just saying. People tend to get friendly gestures mistaken for flirtatious behavior. Just because somebody goes out of their way to do something kind, it doesn’t necessarily mean they have an interest in you. I hope you don’t mistake every good-natured gesture to mean something like that. Don’t over-read these signals.

track was...better today
I didn’t feel as tired when I did the 1/2 mile warmup, so that’s great! Everyone says it’s cause I actually managed to down one and a half bottles of water during school. It’s not even enough then, but I really have trouble drinking so much water…I’m not used to it at all.
Anyway, I felt a ton better, and even though I only managed one lap around the school...
